DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

Technicians are experienced in identifying and repairing dishwasher problems that can lead to loud sounds to come out of the appliance. The reason for the noises is usually a broken washer arm bearing, pump housing or motor bushing. Since these are all common malfunctions, you can be sure we will be able to repair them ASAP!

LEAKING WATER

There are primarily one of two reasons a dishwasher will leak water. The first reason is there’s a problem with the door latch or closure and it will need to be replaced. The second reason is a failed water inlet valve that must be fixed immediately upon our arrival to your house. We have all of the manufacturer replacement parts to repair Whirlpool, GE, Sears and all common brands of dishwashers.

WON’T START

First, if a dishwasher will not turn on, you confirm the appliance is plugged in and that none of the circuit breakers tripped. If that is not the issue, then the issue could be coming from the door latch switches, electronic controls, thermal fuses or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN/FILL

Your dishwasher is supposed to fill with water and then drain water after cleaning the dishes. Your dishwasher does not fill when there’s a broken door latch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher doesn’t drain when there is a broken drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

WON’T WASH DISHES

Your dishwasher isn’t much use if the dishes are always dirty following a cycle. The dishes can still be dirty when there is a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have replacement parts available to repair common dishwasher issues fast.

WON’T DRY DISHES

The reasons to own a dishwasher is for it to wash and dry dishes. You do not want to hand dry dishes after a cycle. A dishwasher won’t dry if there’s a broken rinse aid dispenser, heating element or thermostat. We can fix or replace manufacturer parts that perform the drying functions of all brands and models of dishwashers.

DOESN’T DISPENSE SOAP

In order for a dishwasher to wash dishes, it must be able to dispense detergent or soap within the appliance. This won’t occur when there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
