OVEN & STOVE PROBLEMS

DOES NOT IGNITE

For an electric stove won’t start, first check if the stove power cord is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are on. You need to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in and the pilot light is on in the oven, that means another part will have to be replaced. The reason for the issue could be the surface element, infinite switch, igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN WILL NOT HEAT

A burner or stove or oven without heat won’t do much good. Your oven doesn’t heat when there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. A burner doesn’t ignite when an element breaks or when the burner switch or the terminal block do not work. We can repair these problems in no more than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

PROGRAM ISSUES

You can assume the control board on a stove is broken if the timer or program settings don’t work. In this case, we know how to repair control panels on GE, LG, Sears, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands and models of ovens, ranges and stoves. We provide a warranty on control boards and the manufacturer parts we use for this oven repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always need a hot oven. But not too hot! When the heat is out of control, it might be due to a broken thermostat or sensor. Our technicians can find the location of the problem and fix it. Just be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of skin burns from the high and unpredictable heat.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A common stove issue is times where an igniter glows but does not light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from either a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We will determine if we can repair these parts or if we need to replace the parts.

DOOR WON’T OPEN

Newer self-cleaning ovens can have door problems. The door won’t open after the oven cleans itself. We inspect the door latch, seal and thermostat to find out why the door does not open and then we complete the repair so we can fix the issue.
